"My TeleNav" Browser Plugins

Use TeleNav Browser plugins to quickly save addresses you find while surfing the Web. You can simply highlight the address, use the plugin to import it to the My TeleNav pre-planning site, and then send the address to your device. This saves you time from having to type in the address.

Follow the instructions below to download the plugin for your Web browser. Once downloaded, be sure to log in to your My TeleNav account. Once logged in, TeleNav will keep you logged in on your computer until you sign off.

To add addresses from your computer to your device using the browser plug-in, simply

  1. Step one: Highlight the address on a Webpage
  2. Step two: Click on the TeleNav icon in the browser toolbar.
  3. Step three: A new window will pop-up with the address automatically pre-filled. Add the appropriate Label and click Save.

The new address will appear on your My Favorites list on your device, after you tap "Refresh Favorites."

"My TeleNav" Internet Explorer Plugin

  1. Step one: Using your Internet Explorer browser, download the plugin by clicking here.
  2. Step two: Save the telenav.exe file to your computer (e.g. your "Desktop"), then double-click the file to start the installation process. Follow the onscreen instructions.
  3. Step three: Restart Internet Explorer.
  4. Step four: From any Webpage, highlight an address and click TeleNav button from the Internet Explorer's Command Bar. The address will be automatically added to "My TeleNav" for you to use from your TeleNav on your mobile phone.

"My TeleNav" Firefox Extension

  1. Step one: Using your Firefox browser, download the Firefox extension by clicking here. (Notes: it's now Firefox 3 compatible. 06/25/2008.)
  2. Step two: Save the telenav.xpi file to your computer (e.g. your "Desktop"), then drag the file telenav.xpi to your Firefox windows. Follow the onscreen instructions to finish the installation.
  3. Step three: Restart Firefox.
  4. Step four: Right-click the Command Bar on Firefox, choose "Customize ...", then drag the "TeleNav" icon to the Firefox's Command Bar.
  5. Step five: From any Webpage, highlight an address and click TeleNav button from the Firefox's Command Bar. The address will be automatically added to "My TeleNav" for you to use from your TeleNav on your mobile phone.

"My TeleNav" Google Toolbar Button

  1. Step one: Install Google Toolbar on your browser (either Internet Explorer or Firefox).
  2. Step two: Install your Google Toolbar Button from here.
  3. Step three: From any Webpage, highlight an address and click TeleNav button from Google Toolbar. The address will be automatically added to "My TeleNav" for you to use from your TeleNav on your mobile phone.

“My TeleNav” Firefox Bookmarklet or Google Chrome Bookmarklet

  1. Step one: Drag this link to your Firefox's "Bookmark" toolbar: Add Address to TeleNav.
  2. Step two: Highlight an address and click on Firefox's Bookmark Toolbar's "Add Address to TeleNav."
