Q: Will TeleNav GPS Navigator work on my phone model?
A: TeleNav GPS Navigator is compatible with several different models of Sprint phones and PDA's. A complete list of compatible devices is available here.
Q: How do I order / download TeleNav?
A: For Sprint PDA's (such as the PPC-6700 and Treo 650), TeleNav service can be ordered to be billed through your credit card at the TeleNav Store. Once the account has been purchased, you can download the application by going to your web browser and going to http://ota.telenav.com/ota/sn Sprint CDMA phones (such as the Sanyo MM-6600 KATANA, the LG Fusic, or the Samsung A920) are billed directly through the Sprint bill, and can be bought and downloaded through the Content Manager
Q: How do I cancel TeleNav?
A: To cancel your TeleNav service, please call Customer Care at 888.353.6284 for assistance. Customers who are direct-billed through Sprint can also cancel their TeleNav plan through the Content Manager on the phone. When you select to erase the TeleNav application from your phone, it will ask if you want to cancel your subscription as well.
Q: Do I need extra hardware to use TeleNav GPS Navigator with my mobile device? How do I order hardware?
A: Sprint PCS phones (such as the Sanyo MM-6600 KATANA, the LG Fusic, or the Samsung A920) have embedded GPS receivers, so no additional hardware is required. We do suggest the use of a car charger to keep the phone's battery charged while in use and we also carry phone holders that keep your phone in view and easily accessible while you are driving. Sprint PDA phones (such as the PPC-6700 and Treo 650) do require an external GPS Receiver in order to function with TeleNav. This device connects to the PDA phone via Bluetooth. Visit the TeleNav Store if you need to purchase a Bluetooth GPS receiver or if you are interested in optional accessories.
Q: What is PCS Vision and why do I need it?
A: In order for your phone to get driving directions, maps, or other data, information must be sent through Sprint's PCS Vision network.
PCS Vision is a separate network connection purchased directly through Sprint. You can sign up for PCS Vision by contacting Sprint at 1-800-SPRINT1.
